Baptists to hear James Eshenaur
Dr. James Eshenaur, missionary on furlough from Ethiopia, will participate in a weekend Missionary Conference at the Bethel Baptist church, Ellison Bay, and the First Baptist Church, Sister Bay, April 19-20-21.
Friday at 7:30 p.m. in the First Baptist church there will be an Ethiopian fun night for third graders through high school and Saturday morning, 6:30 a.m., a Father-Son (junior high and up) breakfast. Coffeetime conversation will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Melvin Kasen home and at 3 p.m. at the John C. Carlson home. At 12:30 p.m., a salad luncheon will be held at the Bethel Baptist church. At 8 p.m. there will be an adult fellowship at Wagon Trail Resort.
Sunday morning at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m., Dr. Eshenaur will speak in the Bethel Baptist church and at the First Baptist church at 5 p.m., he will show pictures of Ethiopia. A potluck supper will follow.
Dr. and Mrs. Eshenaur serve under the Baptist General Conference in Ethiopia, where Dr. Eshenaur has been on the staff at the Door of Life Hospital in Ambo for nearly 10 years. Besides providing medical care for both inpatients and outpatients, Dr. Eshenaur is a surgeon, responsible for both elective and emergency surgery.
He also supervises several outlying medical clinics and teaches medical subjects at the two-year Dresser Bible school connected with the hospital in Ambo.
The public is invited to attend any of these services.

Baptists to hear missionary Sunday
Dr. James Eshenaur, missionary on furlough from Ethiopia, will speak in the First Baptist church, Sturgeon Bay, Sunday, June 2, at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Dr. and Mrs. Eshenaur serve under the Baptist General Conference in Ethiopia, where Dr. Eshenaur has been on the staff at the Door of Life Hospital in Ambo for 10 years. Besides providing medical care for both inpatients and outpatients, Dr. Eshenaur is a surgeon, responsible for both elective and emergency surgery.
He has also participated in many services where power encounters between God's Holy Spirit and Satan were openly called for, and he has witnessed the casting out of demons.
The public is invited to attend the services in First Baptist church.
