Jackson Harbor.
A little girl was born to Mr. and Mrs. Knut Hanson Tuesday.
Ice fishing has begun here, a number of our local fishermen having been out. A number of fine trout have been caught.
Chas. Anderson has returned from Summer Island, where he has been employed for some time, having walked the distance on the ice.
The marriage of Steve Gullickson and Bertha Anderson, took place at the bride’s home on Wednesday afternoon. A wedding feast was served to their many friends and they afterward repaired to the “hall” where dancing followed. The best wishes of all are extended to the happy couple.
A large number of the young people of the Island surprised Sanford Trueblood and Pete Peterson Saturday evening, who are living in the Steen house, purchased by Mr. Peterson. Games and dancing were the forms of amusement, and a delicious repast was served by the ladies at midnight, and all departed thanking their hosts for the pleasent evening.
