Thoughts on preventing trouble with StoneBridge Healthcare
I searched StoneBridge's business address, and found that another business listed at the same address is no longer operating. It was called Jsjck, LLC, and was also run by Joshua Nemzoff. It voluntarily dissolved on February 1, 2019 for the stated reason of "Not doing business any more": https://search.sunbiz.org/Inquiry/CorporationSearch/ConvertTiffToPDF?storagePath=COR%5C2019%5C0122%5C23653505.tif&documentNumber=L14000178317. However, I have been unable to figure out what the business did.
I also found this quote by searching around:
Joshua Nemzoff told the Boston Globe he's not in the business to “make a lot of money.” When the systems decided on Wednesday to pull out of their merger attempt, the move also terminated their exclusivity clause.
(paywalled) https://www.bostonglobe.com/2022/02/23/metro/stonebridge-healthcare-offers-buy-care-new-england/
However, Lynn Blais, R.N., President of the United Nurses and Allied Professionals was skeptical about Nemzoff's comment: http://www.onworldwide.com/index.php/news-articles-archives/2-newsdesk/2658-a-statement-from-united-nurses-and-allied-professionals-president-lynn-blais-r-n-on-stonebridge-healthcare-s-attempt-to-buy-care-new-england
Following this exchange, the hospital he was trying to buy rejected him: https://www.golocalprov.com/health/care-new-england-says-it-is-staying-independent-one-suitor-questions-its-fi
The question then is whether he can be persuaded to forgo making as much money as he might usually be able to make on a nursing home. The two paragraphs at the bottom of this link summarize what to expect from Joshua Nemzoff’s StoneBridge Healthcare and similar businesses:

But maybe it would be possible to hold him to his stated intentions to not make a lot of money. One way to argue it would be that if he still wants to buy that hospital out east, he needs to be on good behavior. His rejection in 2022 was actually his second rejection; the same entity also rejected him back in 2020. Maybe someday he would try to buy it again a third time. If he really wants to buy more hospitals and nursing homes, he needs to treat Sister Bay the way he would want to be treated, if he was in a nursing home or assisted living center.
Also, it seems that he is comfortable changing his mind even after making a decision. At http://nemzoff.net/wall_street_journal.htm he has article one which describes him buying a Porsche 911, only to sell it shortly afterwards. He was pleased to have made a profit on the sale.
But how to persuade him?
Another business listed at the same address is https://www.floridareg.com/company/L09000110286/reverie-financial-llc. This listing says that one of Nemzoff's daughters is the head of Reverie Financial. That makes sense because the business address is a residence rather than at an office park.
Reverie Financial may be the same or similar as her new business, which according to this website was only incorporated on September 12, 2023: https://www.flcompanyregistry.com/company?utm_source=nemzoff-international-llc
She is has also done things in Holland, and I wonder if she or her family owns Nemzoff Sport Horses International B.V. in the Netherlands:

She is a consultant for horse-related businesses:

And is somehow involved with an animal therapy program involving horses:

She has written horse-related blog posts:

And also photographs horses:

The contact information is prominently featured on the business websites, and it makes me wonder if she could somehow come to Door County for business purposes. Maybe someone could use a professionally made horse photograph for a Christmas card, or something. Alternatively, there are seasonal residents who winter in Florida, and may already be there. That sounds even easier. Maybe someone is interested in buying a horse, or helping out somehow with her animal therapy project.
If StoneBridge Healthcare was someday about to establish changes at Scandia Village that are good for the bottom line but bad for residents or employees, it would be possible to ask Joshua Nemzoff’s daughter to persuade her father to change his mind out of sympathy for the people affected. But one or more people from Door County would have to actually know her in the first place. All of this would take time, effort, and money, and I'm not sure anyone is up to it.
