Two photos of the Robinson Bay from the 1958 Door County Advocate
[April 8, 1958]
AS PRETTY A SPLASH as we’ve ever seen resulted from the launching of the 103-ft. St. Lawrence Seaway tugboat Robinson Bay at the Christy yard Saturday noon. Leslie Brockel, 11 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Brockel, Milwaukee, christened the tug. Mr. Brockel is the Milwaukee port director. —Reynolds photo

THE TUG ROBINSON BAY left the Christy yard recently for delivery to the St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corp. It was near completion when launched. Left to right starting with the upper level are Capt. Cryner, an unidentified man, and Stanley Gronin; Ernie Beck, Ken Watters, Axel Swan, “Skip” Mathey, Dan Allen, “Slim” Voeks and Jim Meagher. —Reynolds photo
