Urge Observing Bill of Rights Day on December 15
With Mayor D. W. Reynolds, chairman of the Door County Council of Defense urging its observance, and the American Legion through Commander Joseph Zivney, cooperating in the appeal and urging all flags be up, the 150th anniversary of incorporating the bill of rights in our constitution will be appropriately observed in Door county and will be most significant because of its bearing on our war aims in defense of attack by Axis powers.
An act of congress urges celebration of the sesquicentennial, and Mayor Reynolds, in the absence of any special public programs, asks that every school in the city and county observe the day with appropriate exercises.
