What does summer in Door county mean to you?
Elmer Balza, Little Sturgeon: "I live on a farm and it keeps me pretty busy. Summer means a lot of work and time to enjoy the outdoors in your leisure time which you can't do in the winter."
Margaret Draize, R. 2, Luxemburg: "Summer in the county means gardening; being outside a lot; picnics and nice warm weather."
Pat Wadzinski, 448 S. Hudson: "Summer means outdoors, camping, enjoying Door county's weather and biking. We are camping out right now."
Leroy W. Grossman jr., Ellison Bay: "We are residents of Grafton, Wis., and have a cottage here in Ellison Bay. For 13 years we have been coming to Door county in the summer for peace and quiet, swimming and other recreational opportunities offered here."
