As the result of a petition from Ephraim and Fish Creek residents resenting the presence of convicts as laborers this summer at the Peninsula State park, Atty. H. M. Fergu­son, R. E. Balliette, and Mrs. William Kinnaird were appointed by President H. E. Stedman to draw up a resolution to that effect and send it to Governor Blaine.
