Friends of the Rev. and Mrs. H. B. Johnson of Winston-Salem, N. C., formerly of this city, will be interested to know that the couple’s son, Thor, has been awarded a liberal fellowship from the Frank Huntington Beebe fund and sails Saturday for Salzburg, Germany, for a year’s study of music abroad.
